Professional Profile

Paul graduated in from UCD in 2005 and commenced the higher surgical training scheme in 2010. He obtained his FRCS (ORL-HNS) in 2014 and was admitted to the specialist register in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in 2016.

He completed a fellowship in advanced Head and Neck Surgical Oncology in Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York in 2016. He attained a Masters in Science in Clinical Trials from the University of London in 2015 and a Medical Doctorate from the University of Limerick in 2018. He is the author of 44 peer reviewed publications and 2 book chapters.

He was appointed to St. James’s Hospital in 2016, where he is part of the largest Head and Neck Cancer team in the country. He was also appointed to the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital, which affords him the opportunity to treat a broader range of ENT disorders including sinus disease and paediatric patients from the age of 2 years.
